Jewish Shofar Beat | Recorded from an actual Service
Posted onApril 13th, 2011
The shofar sound on this beat was sampled by me, using a voice recorder, on Rosh Hashanah in Cleveland, Ohio. This is pretty much illegal and lots of people like to get angry about it. I also used a shofar sample for the bassline and high pitched noise. The rabbi was also recorded and I got him saying "Tekiah" and "Today the World is Born." In reality this is a very important Jewish Holiday. I was just looking for some inspiration.
FL Studio/Reason Instrumental with Hook
Posted onApril 9th, 2011
This is a new instrumental with hook (if it can indeed be qualified as that) that I am working on. I don't really know exactly how to go about writing lyrics, if any, for this song. I thought maybe someone could scoop it up and add their own lyrics. This song is made with FL Studio and Reason rewired - the sub bass is made from Malestrom by right clicking and selecting "initialize patch." I tried to think outside the box with live recordings of my beatboxing and automating the frequency of the piano.
FL Studio Tutorial Basics, Tips and Tricks
Posted onApril 4th, 2011
I recently posted a new YouTube Video explaining some of the basic workflow of the FL Studio Music Production software. I go through some key points of the step sequencer, piano roll, and how to make things sound more human, which involves off setting certain sounds and adjusting their velocities, aka their volume. I just wanted to give some basics and show how to change patterns into a workable song. I was the one sitting behind the computer for hours at a time trying to figure out how to make a "song" longer than a "pattern!"
Rap Songs in 3/4 Time?
Posted onMarch 30th, 2011
My next project is going to be putting an acapella onto my Superchick Instrumental with Hook Remix.
Off the top of my head, the only 3/4 rap song I could remember was "On the Grind" by Ghetto Mafia. After doing a little digging, it turns out Jay Z's "My 1st Song" and Nas's "Heaven" both fit the bill for 3/4 time signatures. I hope I am able to stretch them to the tempo of the Superchick instrumental. I know I'll be able to, just hope their vocals don't get sped up or slown down too much.
Biggie vs. Tupac vs. John Cougar - Machine Gun Funk, Open Fire, Jack and Diane
Posted onMarch 26th, 2011
I wanted to hear some type of artist rapping over my Jack and Diane beat, so who better to do it than Biggie and Pac? The first Biggie verse is actually an anomaly because he says "I had to get P.A.D." - that's why my moms hate me. The real version says "I got P.A.I.D." that's why my moms hate me. The anomaly might make some sense if you view it as biggie needed a new apartment or "pad" - because the next line mentions how his mom was forced to kick him out. Jack & Diane Remix Beat
Posted onMarch 25th, 2011
I recently made a remix from the John Cougar song Jack and Diane. The free download link can be found on the songs and mashups page. I enjoyed using the inspiring guitar sample and well as figuring out the bassline and key, and adding my own spin. The snare whiplash sound is a pretty great sound, and I think I added a touch of reverb on it at times. I also added a bongo, synth, and open hi hat.

Howdy Everyone. I've made some changes to the http://www.unbelievablebeats.com website, and the beats can be leased through the streamlined flash Player. No two beats are alike and I try to diversify my music production on each track. I hope you enjoy the beats and instrumentals.
